Upcoming 'The Hunger Games' star Jennifer Shrader has just reached 21 but gone too far into her career.

Katniss Everdeen in the upcoming 2012 film, 'The Hunger Games' rising star Jennifer Shrader Lawrence has celebrated her 21st birthday on Aug. 15, 2011. Even at this young age she won oscar nomination for her work in "Winter's Bone" in 2010. So she was old enough to drink, she starred in a reboot of a superhero franchise that garnered good reviews ("X-Men"), got cast as the lead in what is sure to be the next big movie franchise ("The Hunger Games").

Based on Suzanne Collins’ best selling science fiction/action novel, the forth coming movie tells the tale of a dystopic future and the annual “Hunger Games,” a government controlled fight to the death on live television. Playing the role, one of the “games’” participants, Lawrence joins a cast that includes Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz, Toby Jones, Donald Sutherland and more.

In 2012, in addition to "The Hunger Games," you can see Jennifer as Elisabeth Shue's daughter in the thriller "House at the End of the Street." Although The Hunger Games isn’t started to hit theaters until next year, Jennifer’s co-star Elizabeth Banks recently revealed that the movie will be well worth the wait:
“We’re almost done,” Banks told ComingSoon.net in an exclusive interview. “We’ve got a little under a month left. It’s very exciting. We’re really making a provocative movie that’s also highly entertaining. It’s gonna be fun. It’s really great to make something that you know people are excited about and also that you know is gonna deliver. I really think the fans are gonna love it.”

The first installment of The Hunger Games film trilogy arrives in theaters on March 23, 2012. The second film in the post-apocalyptic series, Catching Fire, will arrive about 20 months later on November 22, 2013. The 5'7 native of Louisville, Kentucky was a former cheerleader and played field hockey and softball before she was discovered in New York City. She has two older brothers and is the second-youngest actress ever to be nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award. She starts working in the Television movie Television movie in 2006.
