What's bibap? Well, it is an acronym of bibimbap (Korean mixedrice), my favourite Korean dish. \\O_O//**
This multi-sensory show displays the unconventional cooking skills oftwo highly talented chefs. They will be whipping up mouth-watering dishes suchas sushi, pizza, Chinese chicken noodles and bibimbap.
bibap isthe first performance to combine eating and entertainment on stage. Beatboxing,b-boying, musical, cooking and food tasting will be presented right before youreyes in this show. Each action is superbly executed through energetic dance andfantastic harmony and will definitely keep audiences spellbound and mesmerised.
The exhibit of pure energycoupled with beat box, acappella, dynamic music and sounds of washing,cutting, frying and eating food, produce a perfect harmony, just as all thedifferent ingredients are mixed together to create bibimbap! bibap premiered in Korea in May 2011 andhas made itself known to the world as a refreshingly original cultural show.
Itproved global potential through its success at Edinburgh Festival in 2010,forecasting the new marketing for Eatertainment. bibap was favourably received by critics at the festival andcontinues to attract international visitors in Korea today.
